A new barbecue joint has pulled into Myrtle Beach, and it brought some unique dining concepts with it.
Dickeys Barbecue Pit opens Thursday at 11 a.m. at 3735 Oleander Drive, Myrtle Beach, next to Salsaritas in the Bi-Lo Shopping Center off U.S. 17 Bypass and 38th Avenue North.
The first 50 paying dine-in customers on Thursday will receive a Dickeys gift card and the giveaways continue on Friday. Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwiches are available Saturday for $2 between noon at 2 p.m., with Gator 107.9 on hand for a drawing for a $500 gift card to Dickeys.
Owner Dennis Farmer, who has 26 years total management experience with Boulineaus and Coca-Cola, is excited to open the Myrtle Beach location.
There is nothing like Dickeys Barbecue Pit in the area and we know customers will love our slow smoked barbecue, he said in a news release.
