MYRTLE BEACH — A school bus was stopped after a student made a threat Friday afternoon, according to school authorities.
A male eighth-grade student from Black Water Middle School made a threat on the bus, which was stopped near the entrance of Buccaneer Cove and S.C. 544, said Teal Harding, Horry County Schools spokeswoman. Specifics of the threat were not known, but Conway and Coastal Carolina University police were on scene, the student was removed from the site and the bus checked.
