Surfside Beach man, Myrtle Beach woman charged with prostitution

A Surfside Beach man and a Myrtle Beach woman were arrested on prostitution charges Wednesday night in the city, according to arrest reports.

Kenneth Charles Laukhuff, 67, of Surfside Beach and Kristy Michelle Bledsoe, 24, of Myrtle Beach were each charged with first-offense prostitution when they were arrested about 8:40 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of North Kings Highway, police said.

Laukhuff also was charged with failure to give or giving an improper signal, according to an arrest report. An incident report with details about the arrests was not available at 8 a.m. Thursday.
