Horry County authorities plan saturation patrols this weekend

In an effort to reduce underage drinking, state and local officials will be conducting saturation patrols through the weekend, according to authorities.

The patrols will be conducted by local police and members of the Horry County CAST Coalition, according to a release from Jessie Marlowe, a CAST coordinator. Officials hope to reduce the high rate of underage drinking by conducting the patrols throughout the county this weekend.
