MYRTLE BEACH — Conway police are investigating a man and woman being shot during an incident outside a business Wednesday night, said Catina Hipp, public information officer.
Officers were called about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday to Bellamy’s Snack Bar in the 1700 block of Racepath Avenue for gunshots being fired, Hipp said. Officers learned that a fight had occurred in front of the business between a man and woman.
The man had suffered a gunshot wound and was taken by EMS to a local hospital for treatment, Hipp said.
Later, officers found the woman at another hospital being treated for a gunshot injury, Hipp said.
No charges had been filed as of 11 a.m. Thursday, Hipp said. The case remains under investigation.
