Police charge woman in connection with husband’s murder

— Horry County police arrested and charged a Myrtle Beach area woman in connection with her husband’s murder.

Teresa Ann Hall, 47, was charged with murder in connection with the July 18 shooting death of her husband, 59-year-old Steven Douglass Hall.

Officers were called at 7:40 p.m. Thursday to a home on Williamson Circle, which is located off Clay Pond Road in the Myrtle Beach area for a shooting, police said. When officers arrived they found Steven Hall dead inside the home.

After an investigation by detectives, police arrested Teresa Hall and she was being held at J. Reuben Long Detention Center as of 5 p.m. Monday, according to a police press released

Detectives are investigating the incident and police do not have any information about a suspect, Kegler said in a release at 11:30 a.m. Friday. Detectives are investigating the man’s death as a homicide.

Police said Teresa Hall was arrested as Teresa Ann McCracken on May 16. She was charged with criminal domestic violence in that incident, according to online records.
