$400,000 lottery ticket sold in Myrtle Beach area

— Someone recently purchased a winning lottery ticket in the Myrtle Beach area, according to the S.C. Education Lottery.

The $400,000 Palmetto Cash 5 ticket was sold at the Kangaroo Express located at 2301 Dick Pond Road, but had not been claimed as of Monday morning.

The winning numbers, drawn Saturday evening, were 1, 17, 22, 25 and 33. The winning ticket matched all five numbers.

The winner has 180 days from Saturday to claim the prize. The odds of winning $400,000 playing Palmetto Cash 5 are 1 in 4,015,536, according to a press release from the S.C. Education Lottery.
