Sunny skies in the forecast for Myrtle Beach Saturday

Weather along the Grand Strand calls for mostly sunny skies Saturday, with a high near 84.

There is a slight chance of showers Saturday night and thunderstorms after 9 p.m., with a low around 73.

On Sunday, showers and thunderstorms are likely, mainly after 2 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. Highs are expected in the mid 80s.
