— Dino Capone’s School of Rock is seeking young musicians of all skill levels, between the ages of 6 and 18, to audition for the School of Rock’s fall band program Aug. 17, according to a release from the school.

Auditions will include drums, bass, keyboard, guitar, vocals and are open to the public.

Anyone wanting to audition should call the school at 843-222-7155 for information, audition times and audition requirements. All auditions will be held at the school, 4007F Belle Terre Blvd., Myrtle Beach.

Up to six full rock bands will be formed. All bands and their members will be required to complete a 12-week program that includes 2 1/2 hours of weekly rehearsals, warm-up concerts for family and friends six weeks into the program and an opportunity to play graduation concerts at the Grand Strand’s best live music venues.

Students who are chosen will be grouped with other students of similar age and skill levels. Band students will learn songs, stage presence, tricks and choose their own band names for upcoming shows. Performances will be of popular rock roots with family friendly content.
