Sons of Italy stir support for Community Kitchen

The Community Kitchen of Myrtle Beach would like to commend the Sons of Italy, Lodge 2662, for their continued and generous support of our soup kitchen.

The 10th Annual Sons of Italy Golf Tournament and Dinner at the Prestwick Country Club on May 11th helps to support our mission of feeding the hungry. The Sons of Italy for the past 10 years have raised and given the Community Kitchen of Myrtle Beach more than $50,000.00.

Their compassion and unselfish commitment has helped to feed the hungry. This year, in just six months, the Community Kitchen has served approximately 50,000 meals to the hungry in our community. It is through partnerships with individuals, churches, corporations and civic organizations, like the Sons of Italy, that enable us to continue to feed the less fortunate among us.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, the staff, and all our volunteers, please accept our heartfelt gratitude to all who support your organization for our cause and to all of you who are partners with us in feeding the hungry. Special thanks to Joe Crisalli and Jane Durkin for their tireless commitment to the success of this fundraiser.
