MYRTLE BEACH — Two vehicles were stolen from the same Conway home in the same week, according to authorities.
Police responded to a Burroughs Street address at 9 a.m. Wednesday about a stolen vehicle, which the victim said was last seen in the driveway late Tuesday, according to a report from the Conway Police Department.
The victim told police when he walked outside on Wednesday, his vehicle was gone. The complainant said the keys were left inside the console of the vehicle, but the doors were locked, and the officer found broken glass in the driveway.
On Friday around 7 a.m. police went to the same address, where a second vehicle was reported stolen during the early morning hours, according to another report from Conway police. The victim said he noticed the garage door was open when went outside, then saw that his car was missing. He said he immediately went inside, woke up his girlfriend and called police.
The man and his girlfriend said they had the car inside the garage around 9 p.m. Thursday, locked the vehicle and then closed the garage door, the report said. The couple said they went to bed around 11:30 p.m.
It was the second vehicle stolen from the couple in the last week, the report said. The first vehicle was stolen from outside the garage. Inside that car were keys to the house, garage and the vehicle that was stolen Friday.
