Flood warnings issued for parts of Horry County

An overcast sky loomed over the Grand Strand region this morning and scattered thunderstorms are expected throughout the day.

Temperatures reached the low 70s this morning and are expected to top out around 81 this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. There is a 50 percent chance of rain this afternoon and a 60 percent chance tonight, according to the service.
