A witness called police and reported seeing two men chasing a woman while shooting at her Wednesday on Old Crane Road in Little River, according to an incident report released Friday.

Kelsie Monin, 21, of Myrtle Beach was found unresponsive and not breathing by police when they arrived on the scene about 4 p.m. Wednesday. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The witness also saw a red Honda drive away on the dirt road towards Sandridge Road, leaving the scene, the report said.

Sgt. Robert Kegler, with Horry County police, said that car belonged to a man who survived the shooting and is now in stable condition. He called police from a Kangaroo gas station on S.C. 90 at Sea Mountain Highway while police were en route to the initial crime scene located about a mile away.

The man, whose age and hometown were not listed in the report, had spent the two days since the incident in critical condition.

Police have not released a motive in the shooting, in which three people, including a 15-year-old boy, are charged.

Brandon James Littell, 18, and Michael Devonte Bellamy, 19, both of Little River are charged with one count each of murder and attempted murder.

The juvenile is being held at the S.C. Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia.
