Little River teen indicted on sexual misconduct charge involving 7-year-old girl

— A Little River teen was indicted by an Horry County grand jury on a charge of sexual misconduct involving a 7-year-old girl, according to indictments released Tuesday.

Shawn Michael Henderson, 16, but who was charged as an adult, was indicted on a charge of criminal sexual conduct with a minor in connection with incidents that occurred between March 1, 2012 to Jan. 29, according to court records.

North Myrtle Beach police were notified and began an investigation after the victim was taken to a doctor’s office and talked about the incidents.
