Letter | Less rhetoric? How about less Obamacare?

May 22, 2013

Re May 20 letter by Jim Watkins, “Sad and happy news in the paper”

The writer apparently recently moved to his area and “had hoped that Tom Rice and Mark Sanford would move away from partisan rhetoric” and was delighted with the “wit and wisdom” of Issac.

I have lived here for 20 years and I have yet to see Issac move from his partisan rhetoric. He is first to defend the progressives, unions, Obama and Obamacare. Tom Rice and Mark Sanford and our other representatives should support those views of the voters that sent them to office and that is exactly what they are doing.

The majority of the voters in South Carolina do not want Obamacare. One big reason has just occurred: the IRS scandal. The very person that headed the office where the scandal occurred has been promoted and transferred to head the unit that is to audit Obamacare We should be aware that according to the IRS and the tax court branch of law you are guilty until you prove yourself innocent. The consequences of Obamacare and the IRS in the future is haunting.

The writer lives in North Myrtle Beach.
