S.C. Air National Guard to conduct exercise in Myrtle Beach area

— The South Carolina Air National Guard is conducting an air defense exercise Tuesday Myrtle Beach and Florence, according to a press release.

As part of the routine exercise, fighter jets assigned to the SCANG’s 169th Fighter Wing might be seen escorting a single-engine aircraft belonging to the S.C. Civil Air Patrol between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
