Myrtle Beach police investigate gunshots being fired along Oak Street

— Myrtle Beach police officers were called Thursday evening after three people reported hearing gunshots fired along North Oak Street, according to a police report.

Officers were called just before 6 p.m. Thursday to the 3400 block of Oak Street for the incident, police said.

A 44-year-old man, an 18-year-old woman and a juvenile, whose age was not listed, reported the incident to police, according to the report. An investigation revealed gunshots were fired in the area and detectives were notified.

No other details were listed and the incident is under investigation.
