Letter | If you don’t like prayer, you need to join our faith

May 6, 2013

I am offended by the letter written to the editor on April 28 (“Christian prayer out of line at city baseball,” by Ellen Carsch). I’m a Christian and very upset by the article. If your children feel like outsiders, maybe you need to introduce them to the savior of the world who died for all the people of the world. He is still in charge and has not relinquished his throne to no one.

You need to start reading a book called the Bible and you will see how we all are to live.

We want to applaud North Myrtle Beach youth baseball team and all sports teams that begin with prayer. That is what is wrong with this country. We have not stood up for our savior and have removed him from everything. We all need to look at 2 Chronicles 7:14 and practice it.

The writer lives in Myrtle Beach.
