— Flags & More Military Store, which had to leave its space near The Market Common, has reopened in a larger spot next to Joe’s Diner off U.S. 17 Bypass near Myrtle Beach International Airport.

The store -- which sells a variety of flags, shirts, leather jackets and other items -- opened this week in a 900-square-foot spot at 2891 Fred Nash Boulevard, said Sandy Gray, one of the store’s owners. Hours are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday.

The shop, along with the Veterans Cafe, had to leave its home on Shine Avenue near The Market Common in late March after the building was bought by a resort company.

Veterans Cafe plans to open in its new spot in Northgate Plaza at the intersection of U.S. 17 Bypass and S.C. 707 at 7 a.m. Wednesday, owner Lou Mascherino said. Hours will be 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
