Bloodhound tracking team searching for bank robbery suspect in Little River

The Horry County bloodhound tracking team is on scene in Little River searching for a man suspected of robbing a bank Friday afternoon, said Sgt. Robert Kegler with Horry County police.

The robbery occurred about 1:30 p.m. Friday at First Bank on the corner of U.S. 17 and Mineola Avenue. Kegler said a man left with an unknown amount of cash and fled towards the waterfront. Officers set up a perimeter and called the bloodhound team.

A more specific description of the suspect was not immediately available Friday afternoon.
