Shred event coming to Conway

Documents with personal information can be shredded in Conway this Friday. The Horry County Sheriff’s office and AARP Shred Alert are hosting the event designed to prevent identity theft.

Residents can bring up to three bags or boxes of old documents to be shredded.

The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Horry County Government and Justice Center at 1301 Second Avenue in Conway.
