Letter | Forget Mark Sanford’s mistakes? Not likely

April 27, 2013

Re April 24 letter by Ed Koenig, “Give Sanford a break and vote for him”

Are you kidding me? Mark Sanford not only deceived his wife and children, but the press and all of South Carolina who wondered if something happened to him. And now you want to focus on his wife? Really? How absurd.

Get out of the dark ages. I honestly can’t believe someone in this day and age would spout such offal! If he had come forth and said truthfully where he went, instead of all those lies, I would consider voting for him. But now, like so many before him, he wants us to forget, and give him back that nice cushy job. Give me a break!

Just one other absurdity that makes one wonder where folks heads are: I read they want to stop the dogs from barking in a dog park! Must be something in the water.
