Myrtle Beach woman arrested for alleged child abuse

— A Myrtle Beach woman is behind bars early Monday morning for allegedly abusing a juvenile child.

Amanda Faith Kuzmin, 38, was arrested at approximately 5:42 a.m. Monday and charged with felony unlawful neglect of a child. She was booked into the Myrtle Beach Jail.

According to the arrest report, Kuzmin allegedly choked and struck the child repeatedly.

The victim told police he was sitting on the couch in the living room when Kuzmin came in and started screaming at and striking him, the report stated.
