A woman told Myrtle Beach police that she was sexually assaulted by a 32-year-old man on Wednesday at a hotel on Ocean Boulevard, according to a police report.
The victim texted a 71-year-old man, who lives in Columbia, to come pick her up because she had been sexually assaulted Wednesday afternoon at Hotel Blue at 705 S. Ocean Blvd., police said. The victim’s age was not listed in the report.
The man called police when he arrived to check on the victim’s welfare, according to the report. No other details were listed in the report.
Detectives are investigating the incident.
