My family and I are carefully going through the process that will likely land us our first ever family pet, most likely a dog, probably a Lab.

While I'm not the biggest dog-lover in the world, but I understand why this kind of crime is so horrific. I'm just wondering if everyone else agrees that this man should have received the max?

If not, what kind of sentence should accompany this type of crime?
