NORTH MYRTLE BEACH — A couple roads will be closed most of the d ay in North Myrtle Beach for St. Patrick’s Day festivities.
Second Avenue North will be closed until 2 p.m. Saturday. Main Street in the city will be closed until 6 p.m.
The annual event started with a parade at 9 a.m. The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and includes live entertainment, food and craft vendors, contest and a children’s area with rides and games. It’s one of three area events today. The other events are in downtown Myrtle Beach and at the Market Common.
