MYRTLE BEACH — A 24-year-old woman is facing charges of child neglect after a kid tested positive for drugs, a city police report said.
Hilary Nicole Noles, of Myrtle Beach, was charged Friday with unlawful neglect of a child or helpless person by a legal guardian.
The child was placed in the custody of another woman on Feb. 12 by the S.C. Department of Social Services. DSS contacted police Feb. 19 when the drug test results returned showing the child had tested positive for drugs including opiates, cocaine and marijuana.
The age of the child was not available.
