MYRTLE BEACH — A Conway woman was arrested by Horry County police Wednesday after allegedly throwing bottles at her boyfriend following an argument that started over a video game and a wallet.
Akiela Wanice Anderson, 20, was charged with criminal domestic violence. She remained incarcerated Thursday at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center under no bond.
According to a police report, officers were sent to the Conway residence after reports came in of the two arguing. The victim came to the door and was put into investigative detention.
Anderson reportedly told police she and the man got into an argument and the victim tapped her on the head, which led to her attacking and throwing bottles at him, the report stated.
The victim said the argument started over both a wallet and a video game.
Police noted a broken window in the residence and several broken glass bottles.
