Georgetown police investigate late night shooting, one person hurt

Georgetown police are investigating a late night shooting at a home on Palm Street, according to authorities.

Police were called about 11 p.m. Monday to the 600 block of Palm Street for a man, who lives at the home, being shot, according to officials. The victim was taken to Georgetown Memorial Hospital for treatment, but his condition was not immediately available.

Detectives were at the home and interviewing witnesses, according to police, who did not have any suspect information.
