To whoever placed Jimmy in a tied box and threw him in a dumpster, we would like for you to know that he is safe and happy in a loving home now. When he was rescued, he had to be cleaned thoroughly and totally shaved because he was covered in maggots. Loving people did that for him, then we were told about Jimmy by a dear friend who knew we were wishing for a dog after our cat of 19 years had died. We fell in love with Jimmy immediately as he fell in love with us. He gives us so many laughs and much joy. He has a busy life now. There are many toys for him although his favorites are the Frisbee, the tennis ball and old socks. He plays and runs, enjoying the outside so much. He is good exercise for us, too, which we need. After a very busy day keeping up with us and all his belongings, come 6:30 p.m., Jimmy is exhausted and he sleeps for 12 hours. He has traveled twice to Nashville to see his “cousins” and will return for Christmas. Jimmy needed us and we needed Jimmy.
