MYRTLE BEACH — A car crashed on the beach Monday afternoon leaving the driver injured, said Capt. David Knipes with Myrtle Beach police.
The crash occurred at the 5th Avenue Beach access. No one on the beach was injured. The woman driving the car was taken to an area hospital. Her condition is not known.
Knipes said the driver will not face charges.
