— Deputies are looking for information identifying a man accused of robbing a bank in Murrells Inlet Monday afternoon, said Carrie Cuthbertson, spokeswoman for the Georgetown County Sheriff’s office.

The NBSC bank at 3796 Highway 17 was robbed about 2:30 p.m. by a man standing about 5’09” wearing dark clothing and a mask, possibly a flannel shirt, Cuthbertson said. He left in a bright-blue hatchback with an undisclosed amount of cash, but his direction of travel was not known.

Cuthbertson said the man brandished a weapon, but the type of weapon was not identified. No one was injured in the robbery.
