Coming early Tuesday morning, The Sun News’ online presence will have a whole new look.

We are moving to what the computer types call a new platform. Sometime before the sun rises over the Atlantic our team will begin flipping switches to launch the new online sections. That work will be underway between 4:30 and 7 a.m., and the site will be down during that period.

Once it reappears, what you’ll see will be different from the old homepage, where frankly, it was often tough to know where to look first. The new incarnation will be simpler and, we believe, easier to navigate once you get used to the format.

Judging from past experience, I’m confident that you will let us know what you like, and what you don’t. And we’ll be listening.
