— Myrtle Beach fire crews are investigating a blaze that consumed a home in the city early Monday, according to authorities.

The blaze was reported about 2 a.m. on Magnolia Lane, which is located off Robert Grissom Parkway, according to officials.

When crews arrived at the house, which was described as a modular home, it was fully involved, Lt. Christian Sliker said. Fire crews were able to extinguish the blaze, but fire had consumed the entire structure.

The case of the blaze is under investigation, Sliker said.

Five people were inside the home, but were able to get out when the blaze began, Sliker said. No injuries were reported.

Horry County fire crews assisted Myrtle Beach firefighters during the blaze.

More information will be posted as it becomes available.
