Government food aid should be limited to essentials

February 25, 2013

The rules for SNAP food stamps need to be reviewed. I witness people every day buying steaks, lobster, crab legs, candy, ice cream and then paying cash for beer and tobacco. SNAP should be for milk, bread, cheese, eggs and butter.

They can use their beer money for everything else. Get a job, like I have to do to buy my hamburger and soup.
