The Horry Bike Run Park in Carolina Forest had a Grand Opening Ceremony, Saturday afternoon with a ribbon cutting as a small group of bikers and runners huddled under a tent with rain falling, Saturday afternoon. "You can’t get fit using an Ipad" said, Horry County Parks and Recreation Director, Brent Taylor as he talked about adding this expanded recreational opportunity to the park system. The park will host the Grand Strand Running Club’s, 10K Trail Run next, Sunday, March 3rd at 1 p.m. and on Sunday, April 7th the Coastal Carolina Off-Road Series will hold a bike race at the park.
