We moved here a year ago and have lived around the country. We have never seen so many car ads on TV. We can't imagine that anyone is paying attention to them as they drone on, one after the other, day after day. Can anyone in the car or advertising industry explain what evidence there is that this is an effective use of advertising dollars? Is there some factor unique to this area?
