An Horry County grand jury indicted an Indiana man on a charge of making a bomb threat against several schools within the Conway city limits in January 2012, according to court records.
William David Weintraub, 47, of Muncie, Ind., was indicted on a charge of bomb threat, according to grand jury indictments released Friday.
U.S. Marshals arrested Weintraub in January 2012 in connection to the threats made on Jan. 6, 2012.
Weintraub also was charged with four counts of intimidation of court officials, jurors, or witnesses and two Conway Municipal Court bench warrants for two counts of unlawful use of the telephone.
Police said Weintraub called the Conway Municipal Court on June 16, 2010, and June 18, 2010, and threatened court officials, regarding his conviction of charges related to the unlawful use of a telephone that occurred on May 21, 2010.
