The Yellow Jackets hit a pair of two-run home runs off Coastal starter Ashley Bagwell and took advantage of two Chant miscues after Morgan Mastriania entered in relief to build a 7-1 lead after two innings.

The Chanticleers dropped to 2-3 on the season, while the Yellow Jackets remained unbeaten at 5-0. Bagwell (1-1) took the loss, giving up four runs on four hits. Mastriania worked three innings and allowed four earned runs on four hits.
