Myrtle Beach police charge two in connection with alleged sale of crack cocaine

— Police arrested and charged two men in connection with the alleged attempted sale and purchase of crack cocaine early Sunday morning.

Jessie Lamont Holmes, 31, of Myrtle Beach and Ronald Shelton Sanders, 58, of Lumberton, N.C., were charged with loitering - drug traffic.

According to a Myrtle Beach police report, officers approached Holmes and Sanders in a dark parking lot near a “known drug house” in the 400 block of Chester Street at about 12:35 a.m. Sunday.

Police said both suspects told the officers that Sanders gave Holmes money in order to purchase crack cocaine.
