Re Jan. 30 letter by Ron Kurimsky, “Illegal immigration and term limits”

The writer is 1,000 percent right. The people we elected to represent us are not doing the job we want them to. Instead they are doing what they want to get the votes to get themselves re-elected. They have lied to us so much.

I totally agree there should be term limits and that the American people need to wake up and demand that our representatives do what we want. I agree we are being lied to about the illegal immigration issue; everyone I have spoken to is against them being given amnesty.

We need to go back to the way immigration used to be. When people came here they worked at whatever jobs they could get to support themselves and their families. They did not demand things be printed in their language and they did not demand benefits.
