If the American taxpayer has any doubt as to where the liberal progressives see this country going, read Bob Bestler’s Jan. 26 column and Bruce Glensky’s Jan. 27 column. Mr. Bestler states that the owner of Domino’s Pizza wants his female employees to “get pregnant” because the owner’s Catholic religion doesn’t agree with Obamacare on the issue of contraception and abortion.

Mr. Glensky writes that a portion of the population should have “procedural review” as a step toward “cost containment” when dealing with health issues. I wonder what group in the population Mr. Glensky is referring to? I also wonder, if Mr. Glensky needed a hip replacement in his later years would he accept “procedural review”?

In the minds of our modern day progressives our freedom of religion is in jeopardy and the death squads are alive and well.
