Re Jan. 28 letter by Robert C. Brand, “America has lost its soul”

This is one of the finest and compelling articles written about our country’s dire situation. It should serve as a wake-up call to all U.S. citizens and should be required reading for all.

Mr. Brand has wittingly or unwittingly elaborated on ex-president John Kennedy’s message to us all regarding our responsibility to the USA To those of you who are not familiar with the message, it was, “Ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country.”

Thank you, Mr. Brand, for your courage, insightfulness and sincere concern for our great country.
