MYRTLE BEACH — TD Bank has announced a new kind of mortgage it says is tailored to people who make up 80 percent of the median area income as determined by the U.S. Dept. of Housing and Urban Development.

A news release from the bank said the new mortgage product features flexible down payment options, simplified underwriting and appraisal processes, and the potential for significant savings on mortgage insurance.

TD Bank has seven offices from North Myrtle Beach to Murrells Inlet.
