Kendall Henry had 17 points, 11 rebounds and four steals, and Austin Guyton produced 11 points as the Saints edged the Blue Jackets 45-40 on Monday.

Christian Buie had 16 points to lead Aynor.

CCU softball

The Chanticleers were picked to win the Big South when the preseason poll was announced. They received seven of a possible nine first-place votes.

Also, CCU third baseman Kory Hayden was tabbed the Preseason Player of the Year.
