"We want our family together. All of these children need each other and need to be together. We've passed every class they've asked us to take and done everything we can. We know it's a process, but we believe family needs to be together," Lynne Delph (center) says of the custody battle she and her husband Grant Delph (right) are having with the state Department of Social Services. The Delphs have legal custody of Paul Lima (left). Lima is the great grandson of Grant Delph. The Delphs also have two children - Lydia Delph, 6, and Wesley Delph, 9. Paul Lima has two sisters - Alex and Vivian. Alex lives with relatives in the upstate and Vivian is in foster care in Oconee County, S.C. The Delphs are petitioning the state to get custody of Vivian and hoping the relatives with Alex will be moving across the hall from their apartment in Myrtle Beach. The mother of Paul, Alex and Vivian is living in the upstate and tells the Delphs she is "trying to get her life together." All of the children in the Delph household call themselves brother and sister. Photo by Janet Blackmon Morgan / jblackmon@thesunnews.com JANET BLACKMON MORGAN — jblackmon@thesunnews.com Buy Photo
