Members: Fleet Reserve Association Grand Strand Branch 254, representing all active duty, reserve, retired or veterans of the Navy, Marine Corps and U.S. Coast Guard, seeking new members. Volunteers: Mercy Care needs volunteers for a variety of tasks, to include assistance for patients, the Pet Peace of Mind program, the Bereavement Program, office tasks, etc. Call 848-6480.

Donations: Sea Haven Transitional Living Program needs pop-top canned goods (examples: Chef Boyardee, soup, Vienna sausages, pork ‘n beans, tuna, chicken), peanut butter, jelly, protein bars, gently used young men’s slacks, shirts, shorts, dress shoes, men’s wallets, socks, belts and underwear, hair brushes and combs, men’s and women’s deodorant, and monetary donations.
