There is so much talk about guns and gun laws. I don’t think a lot of these issues will ever be resolved. I believe the ones that own guns should have them under lock and key at all times and out of sight from children.

I was never a believer or had any interest in guns other than my two years of service during the Korean conflict.

I was into baseball a good part of my life. So I have a few bats on hand in lieu of guns, and I only swing at strikes, if you get the jest. I will never take a walk.

I thought this column could use a little humor and few laughs once in a while.
