"We have so much to do," Manuel Vega says looking at the books he's moved from the stacks to rolling carts at the Bucksport Library on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013. "But, we will get it all done." Vega and other staff members are getting ready for the library to be closed for renovations at the end of the month. In preparation, he said, all the books, furniture and discs have to be boxed or shelved to make room for the renovations. Some of the renovations are an installation of movable shelves, better lighting, more computer areas and a larger children's reading section. The library, which is located off S.C. 701 between Conway and Georgetown, is slated to be reopened in the Spring.
