Campus shooters a topic at 14th campus Safety Conference in Myrtle Beach

— The 14th annual Campus Safety Conference has been scheduled for Feb. 18-21 at the Myrtle Beach Marriott.

The conference, which was started in 1999 by Grand Strand residents Dalton and Linda Floyd, will focus on being prepared for sexual assault and campus shooter issues.

A slate of national speakers with experience in campus safety have been sechduled for the conference, which was held at Horry-Georgetown Technical College that past couple of years.

Those interested in atttending may register online at www.sccampussafety.com, and those who do so by Friday will get a $100 discount.
